I need a life. I cannot believe I am blogging about American Idol again. OK, so we now have almost six years completedwith this show.

I guess I feel compelled to rant about Paula Abdul this time. She claims she has never been drunk in her entire life, that’s almost as believable as Whitney Houston saying that she has never done drugs before. Paula Abdul is a complete mess, what has happened between 1990 and now?

I admit that when Paula Abdul released her first CD. I loved it, and I loved her follow up CD, there was veryTiny that I Did notlike about Paula Abdul back than. I admit that I watch American idol when I can, and when I see what has happened to Paula over the years. I actually startto feel sorry for her because I believe she had a real promising career after her first CD.

American idol isn’t going anywhere, at least not at this time. The show has been renewed for three more years, and Paula Abdul is going to be getting between 5 and 8 million per year. I do not know how the fox executives can justify giving out that much money per year, for someone that travels for five months, and than sits with coca cola in front of them and judges someone’s singing, when she’s not making a fool out of herself.

If you look at the beginning episodes of this show. Paula Abdul has changed, and especially this year, she can hardly make a complete thought, and she does more horse playing, and she treats the show as if it was a night club, it is pretty obvious that she is there to collect a paycheck, and nothing more. I really do not think she cares at all about the show, and at times I really think Randy Jackson and Simon Cowell are embarrassed by her, and in the last few weeks, she has made absolutelyno sense with her comments to the singers, if you can call them singers. Simon is actually laughing week after week now, and it is because of Paula’s antics. I would love to hear what Randy Jackson reallyConsiders Paula Abdul because she’ll do or state something stupid, and Randy just glances or looks at her but he keeps his mouth shut.

Everybody is always wondering if Whitney Houston is ever going to have a career again. I think a Biggerquestion is, will we ever see the Paula Abdul that we loved in 1990 ever return, and if she does, can she save her career? If I had to answer that question right now. I would state Paula Abdul will never return, and her career is over, the only thing that’s saving her right now is American idol, and somehow I think she knows that.
