Assessing the current state of hip hop and rap artistry

 


Nas recently released his album Hip Hop is dead which begs the question is Hip Hop dead or just been reincarnated with new young talent, such as Lil Wayne, Jim Jones, Chris Brown, and other artists. Now Jay-Z who retires and come back just as much as Michael Jordan does, has released another album so does Jay-Z supposed to be the Savior of Hip Hop and is he bringing back well other artists such as Lil Wayne, Jim Jones, and even Camron have said Hip Hop is not dead that it lives through them and has just grown or evolved to another level with the new generation. No longer the classic day of Hip Hops with Run DMC, Kool & The Gang, Slick Rick, Will Smith, MC Hammer & etc. Hip Hop is dead is talking about basically how Hip Hop has left it roots and that all not rap music is Hip Hop, so if Hip Hop is dead It is all about the Crunk because it is alive and well and doesn’t lookcare about it is dieing for a long time and in the word of Lil Jon Yeaahhhhhhhhhhhh!
