Anything can happen in Hollywood and odd pairings of celebrities are as common as drag queens in its streets. There’s definitely more than the fairy-tale pairings of BrAngelina and TomKat. Some actors and actresses are so oddly paired that every time they’re seen together, it’s like promoting a romantic freak show in Hollywood. Here are three of the strangest, most oddly paired celebrities that will make you wish that they went out with decent extras instead.

When Victoria’s Secret spokesperson Heidi Klum and Grammy-award winning scar face Seal announced their relationship, they left the world shocked and wondering in disgust. Not everyone was instantly pleased with Heidi’s choice of a man, but what they don’t know was she fell in love with Seal the first time they met (Seal was wearing tight spandex bicycle shorts and Heidi claimed she was physically attracted with Seal almost instantly). Seal proposed to Heidi on the top of a beautiful mountain in Canada and she said yes. They way I look at it, it’s pretty hard to state no if you’re on a mountaintop with a scary man that could push you over the edge. The odd couple got married on 2005 in Mexico.

Evan Rachel Wood can be classified as an all-American beauty; young, talented actress, very attractive and smart. With a blossoming Hollywood career, she seemed to have a promising life ahead of her. Mommy and daddy couldn’t be happier– until she started going out with Mr. Grotesque extraordinaire Marilyn Manson. The 19-year-old actress began dating the 38-year-old controversial rocker in 2006 after his divorce with burlesk queen Dita Von Teese. They met at the Chateau Marmont in L.A during a party. Evan Rachel Wood appeared in Manson’s music video Heart Shaped Glasses where they allegedly had real sexual intercourse filmed for it. The couple also has matching tattoos and denies any news of engagement despite sightings of Wood wearing an engagement ring. No one saw the relationship coming, probably because no one thought a blue-eyed cheerleader-type of girl would fall over the macabre appeal of a cadaverous singer that sings about death, destruction and everything that’s basically gory and weird.   

There’s nothing weirder than marrying your adopted daughter, just the thought of it is enough to make every nerve squirm in disgust. It’s like indirect incest, only without the biological guilt. One of Hollywood’s ideal directors, Woody Allen, is someone tougher than a century bark by marrying Soon-Yi Previn. Soon-Yi was is the adopted daughter of Allen’s ex wife Mia Farrow who divorced him after seeing impish pictures of her Korean daughter. Woody Allen took part in raising Soon-Yi and was considered to be her father figure by the people who surrounded them, but the parental status didn’t stop him from marrying her. Woody Allen married Soon-Yi Previn in 1997 and they’re raising two adopted children. I wouldn’t be surprised if their children end up marrying each other, Woody Allen probably wants tostart a polygamous tribe then shoot a movie about it.

Celebrity pairings such as the ones mentioned above are more than the media’s invitation to a ridicule party, but they also bend the society’s notion of the ideal couple. Seeing weird celebrity couples like them points out that anything bizarre could happen in Hollywood, it’s just a matter of right opportunity. Walt Disney must be so damn proud of Beauty and the Beast.
