When you have a flirty boyfriend the most important thing to do is talk to him about his behavior and how it makes you feel.

He may not even realize he’s doing it, if he doesn’t, then at least comprehend that this flirtatiousness may just be a part of what makes him who he is. Flirting is sometimes the way people express themselves to other people in social situations.

Is he flirting with every girl or just the ones you perceive to be attractive? If he winks at grandma, would it rile you up as much as if he winked at Heidi Klum’s long lost twin? If your man makes a distinction between attractive women and unattractive women, then speak to him about why he does it.

If he knows that he is flirting and does it deliberately with other women as a form of external validation, talk to him about why he feels that he needs validation from other women, rather than being satisfied with the validation you provide.

If this is something that’s going to make you miserable, move on. If it is part of what makes him who he is, it’s betterto accept this characteristic rather than trying to change him, which will only build resentment between the two of you. Similarly, if after you speak about the issue, he ignores your feelings completelyand continues to do what he wants to do, it is a clear-cut sign that flirting is more important to him than his consideration of your feelings. If this is the case, run for the hills! Immediately!

If you are secure enough to know that your man flirts with other women, but comes home to you every night, then let it pass. Look the other way, even when you feel that pang of jealousy when you catch him seeming to hit it off with the Klum look-a-like.
