In the land of media frenzies and controversy everyday I walk into my local convenient store and see some front page article about Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. Is she a prisoner? Is she brainwashed? And out of all of these questions and many more I’ve seen I have just one question to throw into the mix. Why do we care? I don’t get it at all. I do not see why people idealize and gossip about celebrities based on tabloids and media articles that are just made, most likely, to sell and have no real truth behind them. At least one of them has fun with the exploiting of things that aren’t true. The change in religion, the baby not being seen and wonder if it’s real or a hoax. I do not care. I do not think that those two would go so far out of there way to create an imaginary baby, give birth to air and then go by a plastic one from toys-r-us. They have lives people and frankly so do we.

It’s nice to see them in films because they are indeed talented but do we’ve the right to dig into there personal life. I wouldn’t want anyone to follow me around and claim that my kid (if I had one) wasn’t real and my wife was brainwashed and was forced to stay with me. If some of it is true and she is somewhat stuck in the relationship, that caring question comes up again. A girl that we watched on TV, watched her grow up sort of anyway and saw her in good films and Tom has been around since the dinosaurs, I get it. Both are in the spotlight… BUT WAIT… WHY do we care? They’re simply a form of entertainment for us and that’s just about it because I do not know them and will not see them at some family reunion because we’re not related. Plus, the thought of Tom and Katie getting it on makes me sick. Isn’t that guy old enough to be her father? Nasty. I mean he’s a 100 and she is like 12 so that is a mismatch. Also I think that when Katie was a kid- Tom already had his first wife, nasty when you consider it. What if she was the mastermind behind the whole thing… or… SHE’S an alien.
