Despite just about every conceivable obstacle one could encounter, there are manyblack female runway models Todayin New York. Who is to state who is the most outstanding? Who possibly could argue against the steamy Jaunal McKenzie or Sessilee Lopez? Moreover, who could stand in the same heels as Yasmin Warsame, Mimi Roche, or Quiana? And then there is the brightest, yet perhaps youngest, Zoe Saldana; who is the most outstanding?

Most describe Ms. Wek’s, or Alek, as she prefers, look as almost tomboyish with her short closely cropped hair and athletic figure; furthermore, others believe that Alek’s beauty is definitely in her proportionately perfect body.

However, for me and most others, we believe it is in the color of her skin. Some have described her as like a shadow-evenly distributed hues-of color that remarkably tend to match the modeling seasons. Albeit from spring or summer, to fall or winter, Alek Wek is always her ownone-of-a-kindshades of chocolate brown, statuesque bronze, or stunning raven-like midnight black.

The single most reason Alek is as successful as she is become is in how the designer’s clothes drape over this delightful diva. As Alek struts and strides down the runway everything from denim to silk seem to flow angelically in unison. Diamonds shimmer on her while gold sparkles against her glistening skin and we all stare as though in a trance.

Conversely Liya Kebede is just about as opposite as one could be from Alek Wek. Liya has the versatility that is requisite of all supermodels. At any given time Liya Kebede has the assets and persona to shine anywhere. Whether or not it is a Tommy Hilfiger shoot, or even a stunning Channel haute couture show, Liya literally draws gasps from those who are in attendance.

Liya is a supermodel with all the trimmings. She is just as comfortable in a swimsuit shoot as she’s frolicking around scantly clad in furs on the back of a motorcycle. Ms. Kebede is much like a rose-always gorgeous with the versatility of any host of colors, draped in just about any designer’s clothes.

Like most, I believe that Liya Kebede is a fabulous runway model insofar as one can’t wait to see her, what she’s wearing, and how she wears it. Liya has an untypical talent of being exactly what a designer is looking for; consequently, she’s always in demand. Moreover, Liya’s stride is nothing shy of striking.

Amazingly she is very light skinned, petite, and yet wholesome and healthy looking. Most of us truly believe that Liya Kebede is the most spectacular woman on our planet.
